Thailand Acro Fest 2023
After several years of restrictions, finally we can travel freely again! We want to use this opportunity to re-connect with communities and acro-friends all over South East Asia that we haven’t seen in a while! It is time to play together again!
The first Thailand Acro Fest will be held on Friday 13 to Sunday 15 January 2023 at Hostbkk Arts Center, in the center of Bangkok. The 3 days festival is full of different level of AcroYoga, Standing Acrobatics, Icarian, Flying Therapeutics, Handstands, and Thai Massage!
This is an all level festival. Each workshop round will have different levels simultaneously!

The Venue
With HOSTBKK Arts Center / Dance Studio we have found an excellent location: We are in the center of Bangkok, close to two big parks and with lots of accommodation and restaurant options nearby. The venue is run by a former famous dancer, so there is a nice style about it. And we have A/C in the main hall that protects us from the hot & humid weather in Bangkok, yay! If you are checking out their photos, don’t worry: there will be puzzle mats for us to play!

Every round of workshops offers different levels and there will always an option for acromonkeys that are just now discovering the practice.
Please don´t. The festival is in Thailand, we will pay all our costs and the teachers in THB. You are probably going to need THB anyhow, so just consider the balance you will have to pay for your ticket at the door. Thank you!
Apart from the workshop rounds we have times reserved for jams every day. Also, we have an organized warm-up together with the whole group daily. But we´re there to have fun and you will know what is best for your own body. Of course you can join any activity as you wish 🙂
Yes, we do. And we´ve got you covered: There will be free water and tea available during all the entire festival times. So bring a bottle you can refill and drink up!
Sorry, we feel everybody´s wishes and tastes around food are so different. We love this diversity and we feel you know best how to take care of your food needs. There are plenty of restaurants close to venue so that you can go and explore: from street food, to sushi, genuine Thai cuisine or vegetarian/vegan! Please see the list of Cafe’s & Restaurants nearby here. We will offer the occasional snack and/or fruit at the festival.
Stay away from busses (extremely slow). If you´re alone, motorbike taxis are a fast option. Best is probably MRT/BTS (two different light rail/subway systems). MRT Lumphini is only a 2 min walk from the venue. Taxis are ok, too, but don´t agree on any fare – you will always pay more than by the meter. Lastly, Tuktuks are fun and look fun but they are definitely a money trap!
